Our Academy refers directly to Roger Gracie, who is widely regarded as the greatest Jiu Jitsu competitors of all times. He is the grandson of the founder of the art, Carlos Gracie, and the son of Mauricio Gomes. His accomplishments include 10 World Championship titles as a Black Belt, winning all his matches by submission at ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship in 2005, and submitting all of his opponents with the same move at the World Championship in 2009. In 2017, Roger returned from his retirement to test himself against one of the greatest names of the new generation, winning by submission and cementing his status as true great.
